AI/ML experienced Systems Architect

Working with the next generation 5G product concepts, features and architecture. AI and Machine learning will be major enablers to automate and optimize the future networks. We are specifically working on the RAN architecture support for efficient Radio
and infrastructure Resource Management. This includes definition and validation of various architecture views of the AI/ML support system using input from collaborating projects and academic research. The results are used as input to products design and standardization. We are looking for a person that has an interest and experience in the AI/ML area and can study and drive research topics individually. You will work as member of a dynamic systems architect team and will have great opportunities to influence future generations of Mobile systems.


Requirement and Use Case analysis. AI/ML system architecture design. Architecture validation.

Required Qualifications

Strong interest and background in one or more of the following areas is required:
Understanding of symbolic artificial intelligence, logical reasoning. Knowledge graphs, knowledge extraction and knowledge representation. Automated (AI) planning. Reinforcement learning. Trustworthy, explainable and robust AI systems. Multi-agent systems. Model-based AI systems, Modeling and analysis of system behavior
• Knowledge about processing architecture, memory systems, and algorithmic optimizations for performance and efficiency is desired. Knowledge about performance optimizations of machine learning on different types of processor architectures and memory hierarchies (learning as well as inference) is desired. Demonstrated implementation/programming skills and experience with open source software stacks

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and interest in the following areas is appreciated. Transfer and Federated Learning. Deep Neural Networks. Strong mobile/wireless communication domain knowledge. Demonstrated ability to develop novel and innovative ideas, generate patents, publish results at conferences and in journals is desired. Ability to think unconventionally to derive creative and innovative solutions. Prior experience in a research  organizations/academia is desired. Fresh PhD degree (preferred) with thesis in one of the areas above
